"Not yet verified" means the manufacturer has not published the figure or we could not confirm it. We never fill a gap with a guess; our own measurements are added once a unit has been tested hands-on.
The short version
What we like
- ✓Clear fit statement: universal-style 1.5 in inlets with two contacts
- ✓3-year warranty on non-electric Vacuflo hoses
- ✓Low-voltage on/off switch in the handle
- ✓Explicitly not for Vacuflo Automatic 2-prong valves, so there is no guessing
What we'd change
- ✕Specs come from Vacuflo FAQ and warranty pages, not a product spec sheet
- ✕Will not power an electric powerhead
- ✕Counterfeit Vacuflo hoses have been reported on marketplaces
- ✕Diameter, crushproof rating and weight not stated
Who this hose is for
The Vacuflo TurboGrip 7348-30 is for a home with standard 2-contact low-voltage inlets that wants a switched 30 ft hose backed by a 3-year warranty, the longest hose warranty in our records. Despite the Vacuflo name, it is the universal-style version, meant for standard inlets rather than Vacuflo’s own 2-prong Automatic valves.
It carries no 120V and will not run an electric powerhead.
What the specs tell you
The record gives 30 ft, low-voltage, gray, a low-voltage on/off switch in the handle and a universal-style wall end with no rack. The switch lets you stop and start the unit from the handle. Thirty feet is the shortest length we cover; Vacuflo sells a 35 ft sibling (7352-35).
The record’s sources are Vacuflo’s FAQ and warranty pages rather than a product spec sheet, so diameter, crushproof construction, swivel handle and weight are not stated. That is unusual for a hose with a manufacturer behind it, and worth asking a dealer about.
What the warranty tells you is almost as useful as a spec sheet. Three years on a hose is long; most hoses in our records carry 2 years or nothing published, and Vacuflo gives its own electric hoses only 1 year. A manufacturer that warrants a low-voltage hose for 3 years expects the switch and contacts, the parts that usually fail first, to last. It does not cover wear from being stepped on or dragged over thresholds, which is normal use, so treat crushproof construction as something to confirm rather than assume.
Fit and compatibility
The wall end is universal-style low-voltage: two contacts close the 24V circuit in a standard 1.5 in inlet, and the handle switch interrupts it. Vacuflo is explicit that this hose is not for its Automatic valves, which use a 2-prong connection. If you have a Vacuflo system, look at your inlet face before ordering; if it has two prongs rather than two flat contacts, you need the Automatic-style hose instead.
No 120V, so electric powerheads will not run; air-driven turbine heads such as Vacuflo’s TurboCat work.
What’s in the box, and what you still need
The record lists no contents beyond the hose. You need a wand, tools or a turbine head, and a power unit with standard low-voltage inlets. A hanger and sock are separate.
Warranty and support
Three years. Vacuflo’s attachment warranty page gives non-electric hoses 3 years and electric hoses 1 year. Vacuflo is an H-P Products brand sold through dealers; no support URL is on file and its stance on marketplace purchases is recorded as verify. The record also notes that counterfeit Vacuflo hoses have been reported on marketplaces, which makes the seller’s identity part of the purchase decision. Buy from an authorized dealer and keep the receipt.
Living with it
Hang it loosely coiled and keep the two contacts clean. If the unit does not start, check the switch, then the contacts, then try another inlet to rule out the inlet. Pull the hose from the inlet by the wall end, not the hose body, and keep the receipt with the warranty card for the full 3 years.
What we’d verify before buying
- Diameter, crushproof construction, swivel handle and weight: not stated.
- That your inlets are 2-contact universal-style, not 2-prong Automatic.
- That the seller is an authorized Vacuflo dealer, given counterfeit reports.
- Meaning of the NR suffix: not spelled out in the record.

Frequently asked questions
Does the TurboGrip 7348-30 fit Vacuflo inlets?
It fits universal-style 1.5 in inlets with two contacts. It does not fit Vacuflo's Automatic 2-prong valves, which take a different hose.
Will it run an electric powerhead?

What is the warranty?
3 years. Vacuflo's attachment warranty gives non-electric hoses 3 years and electric hoses 1 year.
What does NR in the model number mean?
The record describes the end as universal-style with no rack, which is what NR likely denotes; Vacuflo does not spell it out in the record.
Is it crushproof?
Not stated in the record.
Why does Vacuflo warn about counterfeits?
Vacuflo's pages report counterfeit Vacuflo hoses on marketplaces. Buy from an authorized dealer and keep the receipt.
