Dirt Devil Central (H-P Products)

Warranty when bought online

Residential Limited Lifetime Warranty (dirtdevilcentral.com): proof of purchase or registration of the power unit is a condition of coverage; power units bought from anyone other than an Authorized Dealer are not covered. Buying from unauthorized sources does not void the warranty on items bought from H-P or an Authorized Dealer, but the buyer is responsible for separate warranties on parts/services bought from unauthorized sources. Unauthorized repair voids coverage for the affected item. The RV-line CV1500 (9880) manual carries a separate 5-year H-P Products limited warranty (see product record) and does not mention online sellers. dirtdevilcentralvac.com (the domain given in the brief) refused connections; the live site is dirtdevilcentral.com. hpproducts.com now redirects to Ferguson (unrelated company); the vacuum maker's site is h-pproducts.com.
